John Platt

PGA Member

A 4-year lettermen, and graduate of Illinois University, John brings nineteen years of teaching experience to the lesson tee. John has coached at the collegiate level at Illinois State and Lewis University and continues to be a prominent developer of both high school and collegiate players. He continues to compete in Illinois PGA events and holds several titles. John was selected as a "Top Fifteen" instructor in the state of Illinois by Golf Digest in 2003, 2004, and 2005. In addition, he has coached and instructed 3 NCAA All-Americans and was the 1999 National NCAA Women's Coach of the year.

Suzie Owens

LPGA Teaching Professional

As a junior player Suzie was a three-time IHSA state qualifier, SICA conference medallist, High School MVP, and named Illinois Junior player of the Year in 1996. She competed at the collegiate level four years at Grand Valley State University being a two-time NCAA Nationals Participant, All-Conference and Regional Honors, Great Lakes Conference Team Champion and Varsity Captain. Has been teaching professionally for eight years and assisted in women’s clinics with Tour players, Annika Sorenstam and Paula Creamer.

Tyler Keith

Assistant Golf Professional / PGA Apprentice

Tyler has been employed here at Green Garden for over four years. He played four years of high school golf at Lincoln-Way Central and collegiate golf at the University of St. Francis. Lettering four times at the University of St. Francis, Tyler was a part of four conference championship teams and two NAIA national championship qualifying teams. Tyler focuses on all aspects of the game of golf, including the full swing, short game, course management, and the rules of golf. He looks forward to working with anyone that is enthusiastic about the game of golf.
