We have provided the following policies and procedures to assist you in your visit at Green Garden Country Club. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns please do not hesitate to bring them to any of our attentive staff members or the management.
All players should register in the pro shop at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time. Each player shall have their own set of clubs. Club rentals are available in our pro shop. All players will tee off on the first tee unless otherwise approved by a staff member in our pro shop or the starter. Fivesomes are not allowed on the course unless otherwise approved by golf course management. There will be an extra charge for spectators or riders.
All players are expected to wear appropriate golf attire. Collared shirts for men are strongly suggested. Tank tops, tee-shirts, and cutoff shorts are discouraged. Green Garden Country Club is a soft spike facility only. All metal spikes are prohibited.
Reservations may be made over the phone by calling 815-469-3350 or by clicking on the “Tee Times” tab on the menu bar. Those booking reservations through “Golf Now” are encouraged to go directly to our website and eliminate the service charge.
PACE OF PLAY
All golfers/groups are expected to maintain the starting interval of the group ahead of them. It is important that all golfers/groups complete their 18 hole round in a reasonable time. Golfers/groups are expected to maintain a pace of play of no more than four and one half hours. Golfers/groups unable to maintain this pace of play will be directed by the course ranger to speed up play or pick up their ball(s) and move on to the next hole of play.
COOLERS AND BEVERAGES
Coolers and beverages brought from outside the course are prohibited. Food and beverages are available for purchase in our restaurant, pro shop, halfway house, and our beverage and snack cart. Bags of ice with purchase of beverages are available in our pro shop. Medical exceptions may be granted by management only.
Rain checks are issued at the discretion of golf course management. Generally, rain checks will not be issued until there has been a weather delay of at least 20 minutes. Rain checks may be issued for reasons other than rain at the discretion of management as well (i.e. medical reason). Rain checks will be issued according to the rain check policy posted in our pro shop. A scorecard and receipt must be presented at time of issuance of rain check. Rain checks expire after 40 days of date issued.
